At first it gives that impression, but then they start focusing on each girl individually. It become a literal slice of life instead of a slow burn. And they also talk about the relationships between the character, lime they do address stuff like "Do we really have to date?" and things like that.

Hey! Thanks for answering! So i was kinda scared since he now has 3 girls in love with him at the end of anime and I didn’t think it was gonna be any fun with this going the all out war to see which girl wins route so i’m glad that they are focusing more on friendship instead
