What the depressing?!? I hope Manga doesn't follow this depressing route! What happens next pls do tell!

CON'T Sorry I am in the middle of moving out, there's tons of things to do
- YW woke up and saw a man he can't remember beside him. Turned out he survived. Ruptured esophagus, damaged liver, damaged stomach. Brain damage causing halucinations. At one point he hallucinates the bully being there and other bullying scenes. He vomits as his stomach isn't well, he can't speak and he also needs to undergo surgery for the damage in his esophagus. For several days he sleeps mostly, hallucinates now and then, what he throws up is mostly liquid coz his food is intubated.
- The man beside him at first he can't remember, then he uttered his name but can't remember who he is exactly, it was SW. For days he has been taking care of YW not missing a day in the hospital, cleaning up his vomit and everything. He looked weary not being able to sleep well and when he sees him he always holds his hand kissing it and saying I'm sorry, thank you for being alive, he wants him to just live.
- After YW's surgery went well, he began speaking and eating little by little. Hallucinations are almost gone. When he finally went out with him for a walk, SW expressed his love and again said I'm sorry. When they went back to his room, SW needed to go to the admin and left YW. YW cried so much, tears he's been holding on coz he don't want SW to see him cry. He also is very sorry that SW is going through these bec of him. When he is looking for tissues, he found SW's sketchbook, first images were him in the hospital and recent memories. but the next pages show YW images in the past memories they had. YW realised SW now has his memories so he cried harder and harder. Then after realisation dawned him. How did he looked like when he was found by SW when he committed suicide. YW as we know is conscious of appearances so he feels embarrassed of what he looked like when his body was found and also disgusting things while taking care of him (he vomitted a lot etc) He said he didnt plan on surviving so he didn't know what to think, do or say.
- When SW came back, he knew YW cried. He kept apologising and and saying
- I can't remember the next and where it happened, but it was like SW confessed again his love for YW. The emotion he had there was all his love combined. The past, where he lost his memories and the present.
- Next stories were abt SW's POV. Started when he woke up from the hospital. Then it says there that the time his memories came back was anticlimatic. It was just an ordinary day he woke up and the memories he has just kept flowing in. That day was the time after he confessed the second time YW. Then he remembered YW's question and he felt so sad coz he now knew what YW meant. He slipped a letter to YW's gate. He said there that he now know what he meant and he was explaining his side and he is a mess. He wants him to be happy. Actually YW only read the part that he is letting him go and he wants him to be happy, but the rest of the letter says since he still dont have his memories that time he wanted to wait. He said he will wait for YW at the train station. He waited for hours and hours and when he went to YW's house. If you remember that time, he did all outside errands like going to the counselor, setting up Gran's payment plan which will be shouldered by the church I think. He placed the painting where YW suggested to put a green parrot eventhough it was so out of place. He placed it I think in the shoe rack hoping this will make YW realise he now have his memories back. He waited for days after that. He still went to the train station everyday. and finally, I think this was the time when YW got back from Gran's bday. He fidgeted outside the gate for hours then finally went inside. He saw the painting was gone and when he looked for YW he saw him, lying on the floor, wearing the padded jacket, foaming his mouth.
- The touching moment I rremember here was SW realising all YW will leave behind is a one line will, a semi full bag with the star keychain and his Gran's photos and SW's photo and painting.
- He felt so guilty for this. He feels he dont deserve YW for hurting him so bad, and breaking his promise to him. He feels not one hardship could ever compare what YW did and sacrificed for him (I'm sorry I'm tearing up the lines there were too much to take) Then he decided no matter how hard it it he will prove himself to YW and make him happy every.
- I think they came back to present time after this they said the lines It didnt snow on Christmas something like that. Their phone conversation I think. Then he answered I thought it will snow. That was their reuniting scene. SW said something to YW that he is everything in his life. Then they talked abt what happened to YW during SW's accident. They were going back to YW's place then YW ask as well if YW still wanted to die, but SW didnt made him answer and just told him he will make him want to live and just be fooled by his words once again and believe him.
- They went to visit Gran (Yes! Gran is still alive!). There YW was happy Gran is singing his name bec there was a song with YW name recorded in a cellphone given to her. SW did this btw.
- The next chapters including the side stories I think this is the last chapter then side stories next. This is not in order but this includes:
- YW failing his driving school test for the 6th time.
- SW purchased a new car with the colour chosen by YW.
- in the novel they had sumata but idk here in the manwha coz there's actually a side story where it shows what happened during their first time
- When YW went home from hospital, he started living with SW already.
- YW went back to school, there was a scene where YW had a report but SW made it. YW isnt actually good in school but SW made him go to college so he can experience it.
- YW was invited to a drink out with college buds and got drunk, SW ofcourse got a bit mad but did not say anything. YW bec he was so drunk slept with his head on his sunbae's lap and he was shirtless! SW just scolded YW but still fed him He did not stop YW from drinking again with friend sbut made him promise that made sure that he will be able to answer his call
- YW went to MT and drank again but did not get himself drunk. SW followed him there without him knowing and they had car s*x
- They had a misunderstanding when YW saw a drawing of a naked woman drawn by SW (it was for his art school ofc)
- A classmate made YW create an SNS acct where he saw the bully again. Later, he again met the bully when he was with a classmate where ofcourse he did something bad to him again, but this time, SW retaliated and made sure it will be his downfall. He did not kill him but now he made sure he and his friends will be drowning in debt from loan sharks that he will no longer be able to make a comeback.
- SW went out with a drink with Hochang his friend in Seoul and later YW saw red panties in his bag. YW got out of the house and SW went crazy looking for him. YW trying to connect the dots (remember the nude sketch done by SW that he saw?) he was certain SW have another woman. YW went to a bathhouse and stayed there whilst filled with thoughts what he should do not bec SW was his world.
- SW on the other hand stormed Hochang's house and beat him up. From their confrontation Hochang just realised that SW's lover was YW. It was actually Hochang who put the panties to his bag so he can fish who's SW's lover coz he wouldnt want to admit. Upon realisation SW is gay, Hochang even joked he should've put his trunks instead of panties. He offered they look for YW and whilst he was asking sort of Q's about them, asking what his parent's reaction abt this if they are now living together, SW confessed his parents passed away. SW knows where to start looking for YW coz he gets text from his card. They couldnt get in the bath house so they pretended there was a minor inside they need to fetch. When he saw SW, he was afraid he would break up with him, but YW said sorry bec he left home just like that and he did it bec he has another woman. YW was crying saying he dont know what to do now bec he is the first person he only loved. Then SW explained everything and kept apologising for making YW misunderstood and for drinking too much and for not explaining everything in advance.This was actually a good scene and I cried alot even what happened afterwards bec Hochange cried in the realisation that SW's parents are now gone (Coz he knows them)
Okay so there's other more side stories but I can only remember bits and pieces of them. This mainly is their day to day lives, which is still a tearjerker. Their first time, the bully's demise. You can just ask if you want to know more.
Unsolicited opinion: This drama is soo good and will always be one of my favorites. A masterpiece for me and is the reason why I feel the manwha did not make justice for the novel. Not complaining though, the artist is good, but I just wish the same artist of Haehu (Reunion) adapted this. Maybe if this will be made into live action this will really be a hit!.
There's no english version (unofficial/official). I purchased this years ago via Google books about $13 I think, and MTLed but still it was so heartbreaking. ISTG. I later found the novel raws in Booktoki, you might wanna search for that too.

Yes it was. I can't remmeber whether it was 2022 or 2023 when I read this but I really cried hard on this one. So heartbreaking but at least in this novel they us a lot of scenes when theyre together. I also remember this does not that popular to Korean fans, they call it cliche, boring rtc. Maybe bec Korean media is full of bullying, drama and suicide that's maybe why this is so common for them

Thankfully, he didn't. There was never even a thought of him that he would want to do that. He just wants to torment him. This is in the novel. But yea we don't know coz they might have a different version of him in the manhwa

So he just got his new car right, he got his car in an accident (he didnt die) but the car was totalled. I cant remember if his friends were also in the accident. But it was said that the money he got the car from was from loan sharks. So he lost his car plus he will drown in debt considering how loan sharks are. It wasnt elaborated but it looks like SW has something to do with what happened.
Oh okay, thank you for the spoilers. I'll be honest, I'm not satisfied with his end, especially they (author) did not put it in a detailed description of what happened to him. I want him to suffer and what happened to him is not enough for that
I really dont remember reading ch29 in the novel, so I'm not sure whether this manwha will follow the novel. Also I read this like way back in MTL so I will do my best to write as many as I can remember.

- I think after this chapter, this is the time where YW will wake up in the at dawn to find out Gran is not besode him. He panicked and called SW to ask for help. They looked everywhere only to find Gran in the market. Gran said he wants to buy YW a cake- YW remembered it was Gran's memory of his 8th bday, where all his friends went to his house and said his house smells and criticised the food that was spread.
- When he received his 1st paycheck he asked church head for help to put Gran in a nursing home which costs 75% of his paycheck. When he told SW abt this, YW said he can just help him until he sends gran to the nursing home. SW thought YW was being selfish. I remember he just said that bec when Gran will be sent to the nursing home, he will have no purpose going to YW's house and he will be alone in his house again.
- After sending gran to the nursing home they drank at SW's place. they reconciled abt their prev misunderstanding and SW said he still couldnt believe he dated him. He also said he is not sure whether his memories will still come back. He asked YW to continue just being friends with him- like a subtle way of saying to forget their relationship/not to get his hopes up. Deep inside SW felt hurt when YW answered "Is that ok?" , then he cried his heart out in the bathroom when he excused himself
- The bully made another comeback. The owner just told YW of possibly rejecting YW's requests for overtime coz business is not good these days. When the owner went out and the manager was left behind, the bully came in the store and asked YW if he's working there. YW begged the bully not to tell the owner abt YW almost hitting him with a brick, (So basically he learned that the bully is relatives with the owner coz the manager talked to the bully and called the manager hyung) He asked YW to go to an address after his shift. The address was a store the bully forced YW to get a phone plan. I'm not sure how much it costs but this means YW wouldnt almost have anything left from his salary. Btw the bully threw something at YW's face so YW got no choice but to sign up.
- Since SW is the only number he knows, he contacted SW using the new phone and he was excited to learn he got one so he wanted to go to YW's place to teach him how to use it. YW rememberd his face was wounded and swollen so he stopped SW from coming and made excuses of being tired. But when SW arrived, he became suspish of YW being fidgety and there he found his bruised face. SW was so angry insisting YW to tell what happened. At first he thought it was the boss but even after YW making excuses he put 2 and 2 together and figured it was the bully.but he was suspish and put things together and learned about what the bully. YW begged for SW not to do anything, there was drama. SW kept on apologising to YW and asked him later why he shouldnt do anything. He said it was bec the boss is the bully's aunt and he might lose his job and not be able to pay for Gran's nursing bills. The next day he went to the pizza place until he clocked out, afterwards, he told SW abt his life being bullie after the bday incident. It's so heartbreaking I can no longer continue, but that's the reson why YW wish is to only die after his Gran, how he was thankful he had his first friend in 3rd yr in highschool even if he lied abt where he live and what kind of life he had, Then he said he would never hate him and that he finally can empty his heart
- Scenes in between where they visited Gran in the nursing home and visited SW's parents grave where they saw the photos in SW's phone where full of YW.
- Next days SW kept on going to YW's workplace where YW felt uneasy bec the owner and the manager liked SW and always laughing when talking to him. He's also suspish on why SW always go there. Then the bully called YW angrily asking him to go to the store. SW eavesdropping at the phone call. SW went with YW at the store. Although YW was so desperate begging SW to not do anything, it was a satisfying moment coz he beat up the bully. He was portrayed like a different person. This was my fave part actually. He even asked YW to hit the bully, which he did.
- After this SW suggested to quit his job at the pizza place. SW will be paying the nursing expenses and in turn he will report to SW's house to study together. IT's like his work but he will study there so that he can go to college. The money paid for gran is like a loan which he can pay off later after college and when he is already working.
- Moments of YW and SW then SW asked YW to meet his friend (who is from Seoul). They had fun together but later YW found out that SW didnt tell the friend what happened to his parents. That night he woke up to seeing SW watching a video of his parents and he was crying later on he got sick,
- After they went on a trip, SW ended up confessing to YW but YW didn't want it. He kept saying they should just stay as friends. When SW insisted on knowing the real reason for YW to reject him bec he kept on changing the subject, YW said he dont want that confession with a different emotion. To him SW's feelings was out of the premise that they were in a relationship. It was like if that premise wasnt there SW wouldnt fall in love with YW. I think it was something about just him being carried away coz he knew he liked YW in the past. IF he didn't know that fact, would SW still like him? SW brushed off this reason. For him the past wasnt important and they could just create new memories but YW got hurt more coz it was like SW just brushed off the past that was very special to him. YW holed up to his house only crying and being depressed. A week after a letter came from SW saying wishing he would be happy and that he is now letting go of him.
This was so heartbreaking istg. I rmember the lines were so superb couldnt stop crying.
- YW felt relieved when the counselor said they will cover his Grans nursing expenses for about 1-3 yrs. He visited Gran to celebrate her birthday and when he went home he packed all things that was impt to him. Then he took all the prescribed pills for him in one go. (he was taken to a psychiatrist by the counselor and was diagnosed with high risk depression) He committed suicide and leaving a will to take care of a bag with all his belongings.
