Ok so apparently eddie didn’t kill MC, it was the duke who was “blamed” for it. Eddie actually has this rlly weird obsession with MC and rapes anybody who looks like him…
In the novel he almost immediately realizes MC is leo or wtv, and then tries to rape him after confessing hes loved and lusted him from the very start.
He also kills his own sons so that MC can become the king of strauss again without any interference. The novel ends with him dying from a sickenss or smth and MC becomes king of his home country

tf this aint the ending . smh so disappointing. The ending in the novel is in a house in between their kingdom's borders where they meet and ehem* and they end up being kings of their respective empires. Tf is this half-assed ending. And the blonde mage, grew back to his original height and it did not happen here, why?? Artist just wanted him to be a goddamn twink? tf.
