I don’t know if we are reading the same thing but jinwoo was literally blushing..? Even if it wasn’t guwon’s intention, it’s still an affectionate action. Like hello? you can’t tell me they weren’t kissing . Im just saying that even though they’re doing “sexual” or “romantic” or whatever things as two men, they don’t overreact. The author is able to seamlessly add these moments of tension to build up their romantic relationship.

you only can call it a kiss when it's consensual and two person involved agreed to it, if one of the party doesn't think like that, that'd be sexual assault duh. not every 'lips to lips contact' equal kissing

and i don't know what makes you think their relationship has escalated that much, gu-won seemed to see jin-woo as a teacher figure this far, nothing romantic at all even though their tension could be mistaken as one

The author wants jinwoo to think of guwon in a romantic way by inserting moments where jinwoo realizes this isn’t something you do with your homies.

When I was writing my original comment I was also thinking about ch.5 with that whole ab touching sequence. Where even if it’s not right out “sexual” or “romantic”, the author uses it as a way for them to rethink their relationship. At least for jinwoo, he actually does question it in ch.5. I think this example is more obvious than the mouth to mouth but I still think the mouth to mouth serves the same purpose.

And yes, guwon clearly doesn’t see jinwoo in a romantic way so far. Both instances, guwon initiates but he doesn’t really have the reaction like jinwoo does. But it’s done with intent, guwon probably doesn’t realize his actions are be seen as romantic. He only wanted to help which makes his actions even more endearing.

Everything is up to interpretation, my original comment wasn’t meant to be that serious to begin with. But I know I wasn’t being delusional because some things are meant to be deliberate… and serves many purposes.
