because he has feelings too duh he just doesn't realize it's feelings feelings and i think halfway realized it. plus it's not like he didn't have a good reason for not accepting being empress outright, and it pissed him off the prince didn't even try to listen
I still don't understand what Ray is pissed about. Tbh he's the one who's been playing on the emperor's feelings, used him sexually, practically stole his sperm and sees no problem with him being just one of his toys.
