Raon was smart, honestly. Imagine how much the bastard’s father would whine and complain to the head of the family if his son lost a hand. There could have been a severe punishment for Raon, even though it was a duel, because his position is quite low on the totem pole compared to his opponent. But because he decided to thoroughly beat up the bastard while dueling, it’s unlikely he’ll face extreme repercussions with how he got his revenge.
In the novel it finished in sword duel....
‘sword duel’ but he keeps on punching him i expected some bloody scene—maybe cut a hand or two but he just made him his punching bag
