Acting aside, while I get the romantic aspect of it all, it really isn't all that romantic when (a) the person drunk/asleep isn't interested (b) has shown no point of interest to the other person and (c) they aren't in a romantic relationship yet??? Like ok kissing your husband while they fall asleep if cute n shit but not when that person is literally just your friend/neighbour...??? Freibour???
