Its just a difference in culture and religion. Some cultures DO have gods that interfere a lot with mortals (damn zeus calm down) but I assume you come from a monotheistic culture which is totally cool too.
Actually Egyptian gods tended in their mythology to interfere in mortal affairs. It's just that this isn't an accurate portrait of what Anubis would do in such a situation, you could believe from other gods from the same mythology. But this is a manwha so been accurate isn't the main point

I have a love hate relationship with how stories portray Deities because in religious context, we learn that 'God' is perfect and everything God do has a reason for it ( I'm not religious). BUT God would not personally interfere with human's bussiness in any way because 'karma'. Idk but I believe the afterlife is when you atone for your sins (or how you call it in other beliefs), no God would step in to 'change' the future cuz if they have to they would even show up themselves TT That's why I find it so conflicting.
