I can't really tell you when it shifted but it's not an actual time skip you said you don't remember but throughout the story we would constantly switch between the present and the future (I'd call this the future since we're mostly reading from the perspective of the past) anyway the story should go back to the main line and pick up where it left off soon

Ok, I read like 6 chapters in one sit because I was kinda behind but I'm confused because it's implied that He Tian leave Mo for some time and came back when did that happen? When he promised to work for his brother in exchange for help or when? And when was the timeskip? I kinda forgot exactly when that also happened?
