I feel the need to leave a possible explanation ( ̄へ ̄), Giselle never shot Isaac with the silver bullet. Isaac and the killer are NOT the same person, Isaac IS the child at the end who is coming out of hiding and is trying to re-acclimate to society after taking the cure (which Giselle had also taken) and the killer is still at large watching them. I really don’t like the ending because it feels messy and confusing but I think it is interesting because it plays off of the possibility that the people in the mansion weren’t trustworthy and were taking advantage of Isaac and Giselle by having him act as the killer.
