I did talk to her after class (of course I didn't say I read it lol) about how this kind of content could make serious damage to her brain and put her in danger in real life, since there were a lot of comics that romanticize literal crimes and people of young age would think that's normal or cute and stuff like that. It looks like she understood but she guaranteed everything she knew was only through TikTok, I honestly don't know if I believe her though... Anyway, I did recommend her to watch hunter x hunter which is my favorite anime, I'm just scared to expose children even to shounen ai because I think she would probably just go straight to yarichin after that since I truly suspect she has read at least one chapter of Jinx

So, I'm an art teacher. I was chatting with my students about how animes, mangas, games and other things they usually like are also art and how cool it is. So a student of mine, 11 years old (first year of middle school) asked me one of the questions I fear the most: "teacher! do you know a 'manga' called jinx?" She asked me with a very suspect grin on her face. I had to think quickly about how I should react before my expression of absolute CHOCK AND DESPAIR BCS WHY DA FUCK A KID KNOWS ABOUT IT could give me away. So I told her I have heard of it, as if I wasn't someone who is a fujoshi for the past 20 years. I also said I knew it wasn't something for her age, but then she said SHE JUST KNEW IT EXISTED BECAUSE OF THE MEMES ON TIKTOK THAT ARE TRENDING.
Guys, seriously... WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU DONE?!?!
Just so you know, this happened in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, we don't even have an official translation in Portuguese.
Oh, and one more thing before I go: FUCK YOU JAEKYUNG
