i’m worried about what’s going on with suho too. i want to hope he’s just a regular hyung, and is as kind and innocent as he seems, but with how things are looking i wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out he was much older and had groomed uju. it’s clear to see that uju is incredibly susceptible to that sort of thing. he’s too naive… i wish he would fall into the hands of someone who didn’t take advantage of his innocence and was actually concerned for his wellbeing.
this series is giving me the iiickk. i let the new chapters pile up and just caught up on them but it’s so stupid and unbearable. if han-gyeol likes uju so much, he should seal the deal and toss aside their agreement so they can actually date, because right now he has NO business trying to control what uju does when he’s not around… like, yall aren’t in an exclusive relationship yet. plus, han-gyeol seems completely obsessed with forcing uju into compromising situations and using public sex as punishment. this relationship is especially toxic to me compared to other yaoi with the typical obsessed ML trope, because unlike many other MC, uju is entirely flimsy and doesn’t have the guts to defend himself. he’s clearly a weak guy, physically and emotionally, and han-gyeol has been playing on that for his own benefit… which is just nasty. nothing interesting about a possessive ML manipulating a vulnerable, defenseless and impressionable MC. this whole thing just screams abuse. get uju OUT OF THERE! he got himself into this to heal from his trauma, but quite frankly, this relationship is another trauma in and of itself. he deserves peace…
