1- A new suitor comes along :
A- A fresh new face with hots for mc or mc’s partner.
B- Someone’s ex is back and still interested.

2- Misunderstandings:
A- it was their sibling/relative all along.
B- overhearing only part of a conversation is bound to create problems.
C- They never had feelings for that person. Learn not to assume.
D- communication… or an utter lack there of.

3- Disagreements:
A- kids, you want them?
B- move for work, it’s far.
C- You can’t have friendships with people of the same gender as a potential love interest.
D- who should apologize first.
E- marriage, because ________.

Did I miss anything? I’m pretty sure this genre requires trope to exist.

    There's the
I only want you for your body(but I actually fell for you on the first chapter and I'm in denial). Meanwhile the other part is like this: He stated he just wants my body so I need to hide my feelings so he won't cast me away

Oh gosh, yes. That might actually be the most annoying one. It seems I subconsciously blocked it from my mind, so it didn’t make it onto the list.

    Thanks
