Yeah, tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but clocked the pedophilic shit right away. It’s almost mentioned or suggested in every chapter that he is obsessed with her by doing some weird ass shit (the blood stuff, you are a 20 something year old man and she’s still a minor…what the fuck). And it just made me sick and disgusted.
I get it that she's mentally older, but the characters in the novel literally thought she's a child like?? And I seriously thought the king would've been 17 at least at the beginning of the story! Like you can make him that age author. Irl history the youngest king was King of Toro from Uganda and he was crowned at the age of 3 and you could've lean on that (not like as young like that but you get the idea)??? And why do you made grown ass characters lusting a minor??? BRO THE TITLE IS WHAT I EXPECT THE ENDING SHOULD'VE BEEN! No wonder I had anxiety everytime the ML appeared, he's the ML all along
