The plot started really rushing when French guy got introduced, and especially the ending was too fast like bro he gets told mc knows everything and made his choice and he STILL decides to meddle and kill Ml and like mc jumping in to save is predictable, and the reincarnation curse is lifted in that moment so it was gonna be the real end except again predictably French boi uses his last powers to being mc back….
It’s like it’s BOTH predictable AND too fast, at least if it was one or the other, like an unpredictable plot that unraveled quickly, or if it’s predictable then give it time to have an emotional effect and simmer but no it’s both so it’s like it was just written down just to get to the end….
But one thing I liked in the middle of it all was that after Ml remembers the first lifetime, when mc asks its not turned into a moment of keeping secrets “in case he doesn’t forgive him and leaves” or smth he just straight up tells him EVERYTHING, that I really loved, that there’s no space left for French boy to say “he only loves you cause he doesn’t know the life you caused him”he knows everything and made his informed decision
