So many languages but you chose to speak facts. I believe the biggest reason is that it's a manhua (Chinese) , and usually the plots are rushed with many plot holes. He WAS totally against it at first, and THEY started it, plus the most logical thing to do it tell them the truth and simply continue doing it... Like, they all want it so it's not that hard
I hate the MC he is just greedy for money and power now that he got a taste of it and he wont stop at nothing to get it back like let the kids alone arent they his family (not bio but still)
