God, I hate to say it, because I still can't really believe it myself, but this manga is actually pretty phenomenal right??? Like from the title, the art style and the premise, you'd think this would be some cheesy time-killing nothing romance, but it's really good. The characters are complex, there are overarching themes across different characters, you can see them grow into themselves, which you'd think would be impossible in a yandere romance! I thought this would be "If you ever leave me, I'll kill us both" kind of manga, but it's more "let's explore the effects of childhood trauma on our understanding of relationships and self" kind of manga. I love it. He needs to redye his hair though, because that isn't it.
