I don’t think what he felt for hyeok was deeper and stronger just cause he thought of him while doing it with dajeong. I genuinely believe he was just turned on at the thought of doing it with someone who he can’t have. Though I’m also not saying that what he feels for dajeong is any stronger. I just don’t think his feelings are strong for either at the moment.
I’ve heard of both irl and fiction situations where someone imagines another while doing it with someone. It doesn’t necessarily mean that they like the person who they imagine, more. A lot of the time, it’s simply because they get bored of who they’ve been fcking with for a while, and find something new and exciting. It’s a short term thing of wanting to experience something new with someone new. (Not justifying anything btw, just saying that’s how it really is).
I thought this was over ages ago because I never liked the side couple so never read it. But when I saw the boss side story I had to hop in and read again. And I am so confused because in main story we see how boss took Dajeong in as a replacement for Hyeok. But in here, we see that boss has had an hyperfixation on the Dajeong for the longest time and in fact started to hyperfixate on Hyeok to take his mind off of Dajeong and fell for Hyeok for real in the process. And while he had real feelings for Hyeok, he just kept using Dajeong as a replacement for Hyeok.
It’s confusing because boss went from one hyperfixation to another and used both Dajeong and Hyeok to fulfill his desires while thinking of the other. Yeah, his hyperfixation with Dajeong was for longer, but with Hyeok was deeper and stronger because he used to picture time and time again Hyeok while fucking Dajeong. I guess this side story is to show that after boss got over Hyeok for good, he went back to his hyperfixation with Dajeong. But I honestly don’t think there’s ever loved between them because boss is an evil person from within. He cannot control his malice and it’s what fuels him. So, if they end up together it’s because boss is fixated and obsessed on possessing and owning Dajeong, and Dajeong has severe dependency issues so he will never put a stop to it because he needs to feel needed by boss.
