Shouldn't the CEO be higher than the Chairman?

    Chairman is higher than the CEO. The CEO reports to the Board of Directors or on behalf of the Board to the Chairman.

    The Chairman is the most senior officer of the Board and manages the Board while the CEO is the one that handles the company's executives.
