Also, I definitively have a big problem with cinnamon roll character unable to show any other emotion than happiness, cutess, gentleness, and sometimes a little bit of cute sadness.
Because, even the more gentle people on earth can be sometimes feel piss of or angry. That doesn't make them less "cinamon roll" I think. And Chris have definitively reason to feel piss off, or angry ( He have been raped and mocked for years at the opera come on ! Even a Buddha will be a liittle annoy by this ^^;. ). He won't be less a nice personn... actually I think he will become more relatable for reader.
Was it absolutly neccessary for Ralph to be an asshole to the point of trying finally to rape Chris ?
Because... well... Why ? Can't the scenarist just... dunno, learn how to do a proper love triangle ? Because making Ralph a violent asshole to explain why Chris choose to cheat on him is... a very weak way to handle the event of the original story ==. Even when you want to make Chris end with the Phantom.
