Why’s he acting all cocky? Unless he destroyed the tape Doha can just find it lol

I’m hedging a guess, but he just fatally wounded Bada meaning he’s about to reset SO. Depending on WHICH tape Bada may lose all the memories he’s developed with Doha until this point and return to being an NPC, leaving Doha alone in the game once more which he is clearly heavily against. And depending on where the tape is hidden, it really may not be as easy as “just finding it” when when the tapes can respawn literally anywhere. I also have a feeling Bada may now be like the other guy (knowing he can never escape) and ask to leave his tape out since he was never supposed to be dragged into this anyway.
