All I know is that the primordial world, aka the real world, is the one they currently are in
It's pretty confusing but I kind of think of it as like the upside down. It's a parallel universe that was created as a reaction to cosmic fighting. Or the world they live in currently is a parallel universe I mean. The old God's (I think) are all slumbering in the original universe. While the dead god seems to be trapped in between both universes slumbering in that lake. Likely that lake is the "mirrior" to the other universe and where they will have to kill the demon god
