I think she was faking it, since they both know the crowd won't take Idris to their side and it doesn't make sense for her to reveal that she knows the truth. Their arrangement is fulfilled so Zin is only sacrificing himself.
I find it so funny that the princess is so surprised about Zig doing this as if Zig hasn’t been saying he’d do anything for Idris this whole time. Girl why are you so surprised? lol
