I mean he was blocked from contacting at the start ye cause grandpa didn’t want him running away but at some point they must’ve come to some understanding to make a deal to take care of mc cause it’s mentioned the brother could send the money and the better he performed the more he could send etc, if he could send money now he had SOME choice in what to do so informing mc of what’s happening woudlnt be impossible
