It's not bad per se... I wouldn't mind if it was a slice of life or those laid back farming comic genre... but considering the genres it feels kinda... too happy or childish for it? Kinda like thriller movies thend to me literally darker and with the colors more muted and comedy ones tend to be bright and colorful? Again, it's not bad, just takes away the impact of the scenes...
The scene of him meeting the kidnapper for example... I didn't feel as much about it as I would if the art was sharper and a bit darker. It was supposedly a heavy scene, both from the standpoint of him as victim meeting his kidnapper, he possibly having really killed his family and him being deeply terrified of mc and mc messing up with his mental state. Because of the art style the scene felt way lighter than expected. Same with him talking with the second personality. Somehow it felt more comedic than scary to me. The closer it got from the vibe I was expecting was him dealing with the stalker guy because it was night and raining the colors matched the thriller vibe more. While ai do agree too buch sharpeness is bad too much rounding is too... but that's just my taste... and just explaining why I think so.
More than that... I just can't deal with how he doesn't seem nearly as handsome (comparing with the other characters) as he is made to be... like, he was already complimented as being "so handsome" 3 to 5 times already... but comparing to everyone else he is pretty normal? Dumb characters being described and treated as smart and normal ones as handsome kinda weird me out a bit... even if you like the art you can't convince me that you look at mc and think he's really hansdome...

Yeah... that's my main point... but imagine how much bigger the impact would be if the art was more "serious" and he turned into a chibi when being silly? Even he scaring away the people trying to bring him into a cult felt... lacking... like, yeah he's weird but why'd they get that scared?
The same with him being handsome... he's ok looking, but definitely not turning heads, people tripping and eating with their noses over being distracted by someone handsome... and absolutely not enough to make his sister blush when he looks just like her...
Anyway... I'll keep reading anyway... but I get I'll go read novels for some time to reset my vision... after reading too many comics I think I'm getting too picky...
But I did expect more from the art from this and mistaken as a monstruos actor. In both the art seem more silly than the plot (specially when that mc is acting) and the mc is good looking but less than what I expected... u.u"

Yep! That one! I Usually don't bring one comic up on another's comment section... but reading the novel and comic of both I got the same feeling from both... the comedic parts fit well but the serious parts not so much. In that one the sloppy and undetailed style matches well with the comedy and his inner thoughts... but it doesn't reflect as well whe he's seriously acting or in the entertainment industry where looks (and clothes) matter and I don't think his next roles and award ceremonies will make jus to the novel... and in this one... the the usual art matches the family and comedic side but not the serious and scary parts...
I know I'm kinda repeating myself but it's kinda sad cuz the plot is really cool...
If this was a slice of life or romance I'd have absolutely no problem with the art... but oh well I'll read anyway...
The artsyle looks fine idk what some of y'all are on , it's better than them having those pointy nose and sharp ass chins
