it was generally aggravating to me honestly? I have had work plagiarized before it's not fun!! I made a comic (I believe it's on here too actually) and I had somebody plagiarize it and post it online I think on tiktok or Twitter and they would generally help
hell* because then people will come at you and act like you're plagiarizing it I have nothing but sympathy for the authors that were plagiarized because I believe there were like six of them
I am honestly so disappointed because I really liked the manhwa. But finding out it was plagiarized just feels like such a betrayal. And the worst part? I didn’t even know the original BL manhwa existed. It’s such a messed-up feeling when the stolen version ends up being more popular than the original. Like, how is that even fair?

yes i actually read the BL years ago so finding out the plagiarized story was even more successful than the og was infuriating
the BL was a bit popular on here a few years ago but was not a huge success :( so yea the plagiarized version was way more successful

If you check the comment section of “childhood friend complex” you’ll get to see more, essentially that author copied from “All about Lust” (BL) author and 5 other people and is even trying to sue the BL author despite being the thief smh
