It took me awhile but it seemed familiar, it’s a circle back moment (from Chapter 10)! to when Heeso stood on the rooftop after being slapped by his boss, lost in depressing thoughts. I reread that part, and it was so heart-wrenching—Taekhyung had told him the same thing back then. Because of all the smut, I forgot how sad this manhwa is.（/TДT)/ Those 2 are so pitiful.
As for why his mother tried to take him with her on his BD... I believe she was an orphan herself, treated as one all her life. She could see his future, and to spare Heeso from suffering, she made the heartbreaking choice to take him with her, so he wouldn’t have to live the same way she did like a seed in wind with nowhere to blossom (Heeso's word).
