People think the author is dropping this because she's said no news of a season 2 of this on any social media in almost 2 years, made a new bl on top of this, and is working on a new gl.
that's valid but i do think she's doing bl more cuz it's more popular and if i'm being honest the ratings comparing gl and bl is so different wish people would read gl more.

how about we stay positive guys? i don't get how people are outright saying the author dropped this. let's just wait and if the author says she's dropping it then we can grieve. i've read her other works and she did complete all of it. let's not make stuff up because if you did read this you can tell the author knows what they're doing and already has the plot figured out it's just that this isn't the priority for now.
