flashbacks are key to explaining a characters reasoning and go deeper into other meanings. It also gives other characters more life and description.

plus make you read more filler chapters = more money.

Yes but solely depend on it and it stagnates your story &I confuse/sometimes bore the reader. A well-written flashback or two is always welcome of course. But uh this author really hams this literary tool up :/ there are other ways to share character background and push plot development forward

It's probably confusing because the chapters are short and it takes a week for the author to create another one, so you don't remember what happened in the past chapters. But reading the entire story makes it easier to piece the story together. Plus there are lots of smexy scenes inserted so you can't remember much and it kind of makes it harder for you to understand what's going on. This is just a hypothesis though so yeah.

I also agree and disagree. There are other ways to share character background and plot but it seems like flashbacks are more efficent since you're reliving the character's life and feeeling what they feel so it makes a bigger impact on the reader and changing their feelings. This literature method helps the reader discover villains and other character's feeling in stead of the main one. I prefer flashbacks since they're like mini stories which is a good break from all the current drama happening inside the manga. Of course this is just an opinion so don't hate to much. (⌒▽⌒)
