This is what I've been saying! I personally find aspects of this manhwa to be interesting it still doesn't erases it's wrongs! we need to be vocal abt this stuff bcs then it reaches the authors and we get better quality manhwas (which def works considering the upgrade from 00s). Still I personally like this manhwa
PSA: You can be critical of a manhwa without disliking it. I am critical of everything I read - my values and beliefs don't disappear just being I don't hate something.
Through Mokhwa's internal monologue, they're basically trying to say that he was okay with what Nakwon did a few chapters ago because he didn't fight back, but that's not how any of this works. It's still rape even if you didn't resist despite "technically" being able to. It's still rape even if it didn't bother you that much. It's still rape even if your body sexually reacted to what was done to you. Here's the thing, though. I'm not actually all that bothered by rape in fiction. I'm bothered when it's framed as anything other than rape or explained away as an act of love. At least it's not being done to exert power through violence anymore, but it's still pure selfishness.
