He’s not toxic he’s a monster. There is no reason, he just wanted to.. he wanted to test out the gun. And he didn’t just kill her, he shot other villagers also and then burned down the village.

What if the one that actually killed the Ike’s mom was the good guy because he wanted to bring the uke closer to a situation where he needed the good guy without an excuse? Yes the male lead is toxic as fuck, but he’s toxic period and kills everyone he wants but I yet to see a reason why he would want to kill this guy’s mom and only her at that time.
