Welp, now that's just showing me that some people really shouldn't touch things they don't understand, for what do you reach for psychological story if you just gonna hate mc for being a literally a kid in front of a situation that sometimes even adults have problem to deal with, also being on internet dosen't mean you are anonymous. Also mc isn't a bitch to taesan for "taking" his crush, like you said he always responded to taesan, come when he wanted him to and give him an advice. Yes he didn't wanted to do any of that beacue of the crush he got, but he still done those things regardless.
It's only now when he found himself in a situation that could gone a lot worse, (let's be honest, he got lucky with just some bruises and scratches afterbeing pushed the stairs.) He could break some bones, hit his head and if that was hard enough, he could die.
And the only thing he did after all that. Where I would be already pissed enough to ruin his crush life, he just stayed home. Said nothing, come back to school only after some times and literally done nothing. He just didn't spoke in defence of taesan and bully, but why should he? He is gay himself, he would suffer from it and also after that shit that night? So of course he didn't say anything. But the situation of the gossips wasn't beacuse of him so he is innocent in that point.
