I’m puzzled as to why the FL’s family rules are to side with the imperial family rather than with the emperor’s will. There’s no way you can side with an imperial family as a whole when the empress comes from outside the imperial line and the emperor has children with other women. Divide exists as soon as that happens. Wanting to stick to legitimacy like it’s a special concoction is just foolish. I can see more clearly how that would lead to their entire clan being wiped. I love that it makes sense beyond the original ML’s obsession with the FL’s brother. And the FL’s boss asking point blank if hers and her brother’s weapons can be taken if they’re dead is suspicious AF. Can’t wait for him to try just to regret it with his entire body buried 7 feet in the ground.
Side note: Astaire’s hair placement is ridiculous. He already has only one eye, so why is his hair covering is one good eye instead of the eyepatch?! And lol, she obviously wore that gorgeous dress for him.
