Is it a good time to read this or should I marinate?

I'd wait a bit longer, we're right at the edge of something big happening. Lot's of suspense and no real answers yet.

Depends what you're after. Plot wise, you could let it marinate. Romance wise, you should binge. Like zanpi said, the romance has developed a lot, it won't leave you unsatisfied
