i think it might one of those rare switching moments. Also Victor's persona is actually Yuuri's traits in the anime. He's cute, sensitive and smol. Victor on the other hand is so practical and mature. He has that tendency to envelope and protect Yuuri no matter what. That makes me think that this might be just a switch.
