We're reading a short story so the useless SA (and being drunk cliche) is kind of a bummer. That said I agree with what you said, the age gap is not that big and why tf is MC taking kissing/fucking lightly a problem ??
Like the age gap was never an issue since both characters seemed to be functioning adults that weren't obsessed with age
The SA is a big issue, the rest is just mindless nitpick
Idk I read comments and see how people nag about age gap or rapist or how mc takes dating or kissing and other stuff lightly

Life is full of rapist who get away and people with more than 20 years age gap who fall in love with each other and people who mindlessly date anyone
So either you live away from society or you're really young cuz adults or even teenagers know that real life is not all sparkly and rainbow
