I'm actually really curious about this BDSM thing. Is it acquire by some trauma or they grow up and just realized they are into this? (Respectfully)

In the comic? I’m not sure this isn’t a healthy portrayal of bdsm by any sense at least they had safe words but that’s a damn low bar and basic to be met.

Personal experience it can be a little of both. Some you can be born with others you can develop. Some of mine I pavloved myself to have like audiophilia. Depending on the tone it either puts me to sleep or it’s arousing. Same thing with sharp pain I just convinced myself when younger that I wasn’t in pain with skinned knees stubbed toes etc. it now shows up as loving sharp pain as an adult. (Do NOT do anything near my face it’s very sensitive neck down for me is fine) Then the one for sure I’ve always had is rope/ bondage that is just a sensory thing overall.

Hmmmn.probably the main reason are the people who has this kind of kinks and then when they separate ways from their partners, the other maybe they somewhat like looking for that kind of set up. So they will like recruiting more people into BDSM. I suggest to read 50 shades of gray, its a novel though, it’s BDSM too but not a BL..
