This is the real love triangle trope that actually worked and I'm surprised i'm not mad about that (I have an immense hate for love triangle tropes).
And damn I'm such a sucker for characters with good backstory bc this managed to make me feel sympathetic for alex especially when clark killed him. Maybe if he got therapy in his early age and met people who would stick close to him through thick and thin, he wouldn't end up as a serial killer. His character unlike clark, is not a psychopath from the very beginning, and characters who turns twisted is definitely up to my alley. *Sighs* he could have been a very good and cute lover if life didn't fuck him up. He's just so puppy dog coded.
