he tortures raonhiljo’s mother to try getting information out of her and gouges her eyes out and cuts her and etc. then he gets someone to make a children’s lullaby about the ways he tortured his mother to death, and spreads that song for children to sing, in the hopes that raonhiljo will hear it and come back with the imae.


THEN he goes even more insane and orders for young boys with pale skin and long hair who resemble the imae to come to the forest, where he HUNTS and shoots them down in the most gruesome ways. (One of them literally had me sick to my stomach, he stripped one of the boys and shoved the shotgun up his backside and shot him).

i cannot bring myself at all to be okay with him as ML.

Oh. That’s actually disturbing….like this ML is far from getting any sort of redemption. There’s no saving this dude and it’s crazy how he’s the end game. Ugh I can’t believe this story is one of those stories where there’s no good/happy ending.

Spoiler: Because raon is not as good as everyone thinks (for me). Yes garon is poisoned and he knows it and he also know what is the antidote but he never asked for it. Why? Because it will kill the mc. On the other hand, raon is determined to find the antidote so he can have sex with mc without holding back. Mc got scared because of this.

When garon is always dying he thought that mc and raon had sex but he reminded him not to do stupid (meaning give the antidote to raon) because he doesn’t want him to die :))

I haven't read the novel so I can't rlly judge much abt Raon, but considering everything Garon did to MC and everyone? He had it coming and only have himself to blame. Not asking for the antidote from MC just makes it the bare minimum and he deserve to suffer from the poison anyway lmao. And I already expected Raon's gonna be villainized at some point cuz the author has to find a way for readers to root for the toxic ML instead of the second ML lol.

So they're both pieces of shit and both deserve to die lol none of them is good enough to be end game and I'm sad this story is going for the same typical cliché of an ending

Oh, just to be clear, I don’t like any of them for MC. :))

Garon really is a bad guy, but if I had to choose between them, I’d prefer Garon. He loves MC so much. I’m not justifying him—that’s just how it was described in the novel.

From the moment Raon was introduced, both here and in the novel, you can see that his intentions with MC were never pure. :)) That’s why I don’t like him either. :)) In the novel, whenever Raon and MC were together, he always wanted to be intimate even when MC wasn’t comfortable. MC had a habit of sleepwalking, remember? Raon got mad because he thought MC wanted to leave so badly, even though MC couldn’t remember anything about his sleepwalking. But when Garon and MC got back together, Garon never got mad. Instead, he walked beside him while he was sleepwalking to see where he always wanted to go. He guided him so he wouldn’t hurt himself or bump into a tree.

Also, Garon didn’t intentionally kill MC’s mom—he didn’t know she was in that house. But still, it’s not okay and never will be. That’s why he spent the rest of his life making up for it.

And Garon practically died in the novel. :)) He had no pulse, it was stated that he was no longer breathing, and then suddenly, he was alive again. The imae saved him because he fell in love with him.

In the end, Garon spent most of his time taking care of the imae. :)) He was changing too—he never killed anyone because that’s what the imae wanted. He always followed the imae, took care of him, and more.

Again, it's just predictable and delusional. It's like saying that if a cartel member or a mafia boss suddenly decide to "be good" even though they have tortured and killed so many innocent people for their own benefits it's nice and we should be happy for them. No lol, they still did a lot of harm and should pay for it, they shouldn't just suddenly be happy and "good"

The story is predictable, boring and the same cliché as always. Really sad honestly

the way you are putting it is out of context tho… raon didn’t know that the antidote is the horn and could kill mc. and to say that he only wants to sleep with mc is also not true, in the backstory of how they met it clearly shows that he has feelings towards mc but doesn’t wanna come off too strong, and when the village is burnt down and he finds out that mc survived he is relieved and wants to protect the imae and have a second chance to get closer.


so to say he only wants sex from the imae crazy. he gave up his status and left everything behind to help mc escape from garon because he was in danger, then he gave mc a name knowing that would bond them for life and they would feel what the other does. he started life from scratch for the mc, and when he felt that the imae was unhappy with him he sent him on his way without further discussion.


so in the end garon knew the antidote but didn’t want mc to die, raon DIDNT know the antidote and also obviously didn’t want mc to die.
