Rather him just be there doing nothing than be a bad guy. At least his motivates are clear unlike....I forgot her name but the cheating old lady. She's so wishy washy and it's back and forth for her and the young mistress.

I get it lol he's a background character with hardly any scenes. But her husband on the other hand makes a lot of appearances and he is a scumbag.
