Maybe it's also bc of the fact that it's an action manhua. Istg action manhuas always feel more disjointed than their manhwa/manga counterparts. It's like the authors are incapable of actually capturing and addressing the weaknesses of protagonists and end up just creating a bunch of plotholes and question marks.
+which is sad bc the plot's good and has great potential
I like it but the pacing and execution feels weird. It feels like something that's better off read than seen.
