ill always stand by the fact that dg and alex being in college makes it much milder and less high stakes barely more acceptable even if it's cringe and corny like alex still dealing with highschool trauma while brother jaekyung is a whole ass grown man with very dangerous physical capabilities if the story wants to take itself seriously about abuse and stuff don't expect me to feel happy when you give jaekyung the exact same redemption arc as alex because i won't feel an ounce of satisfaction from that lol
This yaoi is still much more built with some relatable characters and real life situations, the events in here could all have existed irl and that's why I personally find it more interesting than other yaoi that create an entire plot that is a mere excuse to put two men together in the same bed. But that's just my take.
Fr….this authors writing skills are very mid. Such as shame they’ve improved their art skills nicely but their writing of this chasing arc is recycled. The same scene too, bottom not enjoying it as much leading to the top having a crisis
They fr just copying the plot of bj Alex. He keeps trying to run into him. Won't leave him alone. He says one last time. He doesn't want to kiss or look at him. He tries everything to make him react and stop acting like that. And literally the "I almost did it just from putting it in" is what Alex said. Like fr man. Why did u make an even worse relationship and keep so many plot points. This is like them in another universe.
