Wild thing to say she’s useless when she’s been helping him the entire time I like her she’s not begging for attention or none of that she wants to become better and that’s good I rather have someone mentally there for me than physically and plus the ML do everything by himself anyway
I saw that after chapter 86 she gets much better, but before that, I honestly didn’t care about her. I still don’t but she’s much better now. Also, I guess I was just irritated by the whole “finish learning the sword by a certain deadline or never wield a sword ever again” thing. I was mostly irritated by the grandpa though. Also, they don’t really have much chemistry. They seem like good friends and teammates, which I actually quite like, but the hints here and there about maybe them possibly becoming a couple is a bit out of place for me
So, I just started reading this and I binged until chapter 85 (MC just finished his hunter exam) but dude, I’m getting increasingly annoyed by the Sword Saint and his grand daughter. I don’t care about the grand daughter, I don’t dislike her but I don’t like her either, so, so much focus on her is tiring and I actually quite dislike the Sword Saint. He says his actions are out of love, but all he’s done up until now is no different than oppression and abuse. I hate him and I hate characters like him who go around beating people up without knowing half the story. I’m not saying “without knowing the entire story” because this dumbass didn’t even know a third of what was going on when he just barged into the academy to beat MC up. Plus, isn’t it weird to force your grand daughter to become a hunter when your own son died to a monster? Especially when the grand daughter didn’t even want to become a hunter in the first place? Sure, make her learn the sword and make her train to make her strong enough to be able to protect herself, but don’t make her become a hunter against her will, wtf. Making her learn the sword will give her the tools to protect herself, but forcing her to become a hunter puts her in more danger. wtf kind of logic is that?
Plus, all these scenes are just making it more and more likely for the grand daughter to be the FL and I really REALLY DON’T WANT THAT. Because honestly, she’s fucking useless.
