it feels like he gave up completely lmaoo i liked part 2 at first but i noticed it really started to go downhill with the chainsaw cult thing, when he brought back quanxi for like 5 seconds and she was never seen from again, the value of life and death rendered meaningless to the narrative, constant goonerism and not in an interesting freudian psychoanalytic way just in a weird fanservicey way, complete asayoru and denji character assassination i hated to see it. fujimoto go join gege in facing the wall

Thank u for putting together my qualms omg it used to be peak but midway through part two I sort of fell off, and now I’m completely off the ride. Might keep up with it but not be too invested. It’s just not that peak anymore and I think so much of the good stuff from part 1 revolved around having a clear goal each arc (that lead up to defeating Makima). Yes it was edgy and chaotic but still had some sort of followable plot going. Right now just seems like meandering with no true intention or goal in sight, and fujimoto glazers elsewhere are just trying to make sense of it by assigning words no one ever said and intentions no one ever had to each chapter to make it seem like fujimoto is still cooking and coherent.
