i read this manhwa that say the one of the lover mistaken familiarity as comfort instead of love. I think that is his case he so used to being with her that he never realized how much she part of his life and how much he’s loves her. It only when familiarity is gone that you realize how lonely and desperate you are to being a in love and happiness with someone.
that why people go for another person when they have someone already, yes it’s new and exciting and not familiar with their life but once it’s gone they begin to regret it.
It was more like he rewarded her with him dating her, I don't see it any other way. Then maybe maybe he got used to her and her familiarity became love or anything else I'm not sure, but I doubt he mistook his own feeling in the beginning
Yea that sound about right, I feel like he just using the excuse of his father to be with her cuz no one going that far to be with someone especially someone who doesn’t know his own feelings

I honestly think the ex really likes yoomin, but he prolly doesn't even realize it. I don't wanna overthink it, but I feel like something happened to him that's why he ended up with that mindset. he clearly enjoys the comfort yoomin provides, like being around his family, so he doesn’t really mind not feeling that "butterfly" effect.
I really appreciate how realistic this manhwa is. it's so true that in long relationships, the attachment doesn’t just disappear, especially when the breakup happens because ur ex just doesn’t see u romantically. it's way harder to let go of something like that bcs u can't really hate ur ex partner. I really hope yoomin gets the closure she needs so she can finally move on and be with hyundo hehe (ʃƪ＾3＾）
