Yes I get that part. What I'm curious is whether Deokchil is a bad sounding name in Korean. Like in English if your name is Richard, you'd probably be called Dick as a nickname and well Dick is dick so you'll probably not want people to know your full name so you go around telling everyone your name is Rich or something like that
