Allow me to make it more confusing!
I'm just gonna explain the main points
Damon/Jinwoo & Colton are using each other to get over someone
(His Collage Ex for Damon)
(Dylan for Colton)
10 years ago they met at the bar, and Damon took advantage of a drunk Colton, and they slept together
In the late chapters in S2
They both fell so hard for each other
Since Colton love Damon so much he proposed to his director to have Damon a Solo Gallery(the one we see in the beginning of side stories)
But Damon doesn't know Colton loves him, he crashes out when he found out his name wasn't on the exhibition that they both agreed on their contract (he was replaced by Bella, Colton's sister)
So Damon thought that Colton betrayed him...(or played him)
Next scene Colton showed up at Damon's studio and explained to him that he planned a solo exhibition for him.
