*adding to my own rant, what's with this weird obsession that every mangaka, webtoon artist, and even novel writer has with creating MLs who are always clean-shaven? like, they go to war, get imprisoned or kidnapped, stay bedridden and sick for centuries, and yet—not a single strand of hair on their face! their smooth, shaved faces still somehow glow brighter than my future. like, come on, authors and artists, let men grow beards. i want facial hair, messy hair, and better yet—body hair. i'm way past the age of obsessing over 2D angelic-faced MLs, now, i want a beastly, wolverine-like hairball =')
