Honestly what I think would happen is that they will have like a honeymoon phase where Dan will always have JK is only using him narrative behind his mind ( so we will see JK try with Dan but obviously JK plan will only be using Dan for his match) but things slowly get better until his granny passes away that’s when we see Dan go back in his depressed state but what worse is that he has nothing to lose not even JK can help him. I think the author will put a swing where Dan leaves for some time with JK self reflection or JK will end up taking care of Dan after his granny passes and we see a caring side of JK; I mean I think JK has an idea (I hope) that Dan is extremely depressed...I mean we literally saw him walk into the ocean unconsciously. In all honesty I want Dan to crash out with complete hate to JK after granny passes away but I think JK will do anything for Dan at that point except leaving him alone.
Personally if I wrote the story I will have Dan crash out on JK and move to more deserted location and find a caring guy who’s there for Dan mentally and not just physically. But knowing how for a fact JK and Dan will end up together grinds my gears.
You guys. You all want something to happen that will only happen in second half of this season if not in third season.
This right now is what you wanted season 1 to be.
We started at level -2, not -1. Now we're slowly progressing towards -1. It will accelerate from then, from 0 to 1 to 2 will get faster and faster and I'm already foretelling everyone will feel the ending was rushed, but don't worry, there will be extras.
That's my prophecy lol.
