Like everyone is complaining the dad used Killian without forgetting that a large part of plot was literally written by that bitch of an author. The parents have been trying hard to repair their mistakes and it's not like they were even abusive to Killian. He got the same opportunities as Cliff it's just the author always intended for Cliff to outshine and have the spotlight and that's how the world reacted to Killian. He was comfortable, just because he wasn't praised because Cliff would be winning all the time isn't THAT abusive. Compared to what Edith went through. In fact I'm a bit pissed her family got killed so simply. I wanted to see them suffer a bit more.
Anyway the way I see it now, if Edith and Killian stay they will have a lot of good friends and support. The crown princess (and her potential love interest mercenary guy) are now besties. You have Rinnen here, all the aide characters love Edith. AND Edith finally has a mother and father figures in the form of her inlaws in her life now that the author's hold is fully broken so her staying would not be end of the world. I would also like if they go to the mountains and live alone but this is also NOT a bad ending.
And people saying the dad wants Killian to fix the mess? I don't get it. Killian is being given the most powerful duchy. It's not MORE work than the mountains it's gonna be LESS work. The only thing would be they would have to attend royal events more often since they will be in the city. Like his Dad already built it all up and the biggest rival family (Edith's bitch ass father) is gone.
I haven't read the novels so from purely the webtoon perspective the story seems very fluid overall. Ya'll need to chill.
My only complain is that I do want to see some steamy romance scenes now between Killian and Edith now. Enough talking now fuck and make some pretty babies ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
